Let It Snow!

So a couple of weeks ago I finally took pictures out in the snow. But because I already had that week’s post organised, I decided to delay it until this week. I was planning to do an outfit centred around valentines but since I am perpetually single and don’t care about Valentine’s Day, I decided just to leave it.

It was absolutely freezing and since I was using a timer, a lot of my pictures are of me looking cold and/or miserable

(It’s weird how detached I am from these pictures; usually I’m like “I can’t put that one up, my arm is slightly out of place” but today I'm like “let’s all laugh at Past Bronwyn”.)

The snow only has to get this deep in Britain before we are all worried about whether the school will close and panic buy tinned food.

Also I’ve filmed a Get Ready With Me Pre-Blogging Make-up Routine video (I don’t know what to call it) that I will put up sometime next week. I haven’t edited that yet…

I'm wearing:
Jumper from Primark for £3
Denim Shirt from Primark
Coat from New Look
Purple Skinny Jeans from Primark
for £11
Boots from Clarks

  1. I've looked through a few of your posts and I really think your style is so cute x)
Looking good in all of them.

Btw, there's something about you (maybe your smile?) which reminds me of Taylor Swift (I am definitely serious here!) x

  3. I think you look super cute even if you were cold! I always end up with those looking cold pictures when it's freezing outside too. Your purple jeans are fantastic and I'm loving your cozy-looking sweater too.

Raccoons and Ringlets

After we went swimming the other day, I just let my hair dry naturally. This produced what has been dubbed as my “triangle hair”. My hair usually curls tighter when I leave it, but I’ve been straightening it a lot more often and it seems to have melted my hair or something because the last couple of times it was just straight frizz. The lighting is terrible in all these pictures so if I look a little red that’s why. The jumper I'm wearing is from the men’s section. I find that guy’s jumpers are a lot warmer and the neck-line is so high, you don’t need a scarf. In Primark specifically, the men’s jumpers seem to be less itchy and wash a lot better as they don’t shrink as badly. The styles are usually very similar to the woman’s and they seem to be in more muted colours which is something I particularly like.      I'm wearing: Jumper from Primark (they are  usually  £6 but I managed to get mine at the start of summer f...

A Storm in a Teacup

So the other day I was out shopping with my friend when I saw this dress and got a bit over excited. It was long enough to go past my knees! Being something like 5’10, dresses that are long enough on other people are always too short on me. So many of the dresses I have, I have to wear with leggings or even skinny jeans. So the fact this dress wasn’t just long enough, but went past my knees was a novelty. It’s really pretty too, these pictures don’t show the top of it but it has a 1940’s sort of feel to it. I can’t wait until the weather warms up and I can wear it with my arms out.    The iso is a bit high in some of these pictures as the sun was setting so half of them are a bit grainy. I didn’t realise this at the time and even though I kind of like the effect, it would have been better if they all looked the same. Oh well, I will just have to remember this for next time. I also went a bit mad in Primark and I have filmed a video on what I bought, wh...

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside

I may or may not have forgotten that I was supposed to post last week, so here is the post: So when I was in Northern Ireland the weather was perfect so I got a few pictures of my outfits. This dress reminded me of Donaghadee when I bought it and it was only right that I took pictures of it there. So I managed to get down to Donaghadee; the weather was lovely and we didn’t expect it to last that long, and I was about to start taking pictures with my DSLR when I noticed that I had very cleverly left my memory card at the house. So here are my improvised-with-my-phone-while-old-ladies-were-staring-at-me outfit pictures! When I was taking the pictures I kept finding more and more things that matched my dress. It was defiantly made for Donaghadee!
